Frequently Asked Questions

We're building our FAQ page, so we don't have a lot of questions and anwers yet. If you don't see your question below, please email and we'll try to answer it for you as soon as possible.

You may be able to find the answer to your question at The WordByrd Network in the interim. They support what we are doing here at Rocky Mountain QR Codes, and specialize in all things QR Codes.

Q: What Does 'Precision' Mean In The 'Options' Section?

A: There are 4 selections under Precision: L - Smallest, M - Medium, Q - High, and H - Best. This is the error level built in to each generated QR Code. The lower the level of precision means that there has to be less room for error when scanning your QR Code. Example: If you're planning to put a logo over top of your qr code, if it covers too much of it, the less likely it will be readable. Even if there's a certain amount of glare from light on the qr code, or even if someone spilled coffee on it, the less likely it will scan at a lower precision level.
